Molly did a fabulous job again of getting set up/registration up and running and still somehow saved some energy for the races. We had 21 people show up tonight. Mostly the dedicated few from week after week, but we saw some first timers tonight too! You all get a HUGE round of applause for showing up for your first track race on another HOFH night! Officials extraordinaire Sara and Marijn kept us on track (both literally and figuratively!) and produced these fine results you see below!!
On a personal note: Thanks to Emilie and Sarah Turner, with Molly and myself, we had a women's field of 4!
Some of the B racers tried their hand, er wheels at A races, some C's jumped up to try B races and we even had enough to run C races. We were able to get in 3 rounds of races, with a couple of extra/fun stuff at the end of the night. Everyone survived, with no major mishaps or heat stroke! (Fortunately Sarah's flat tire/pseudo crash did not result in any injuries!)
Round One brought us all 5 lap Scratch races. The A racers let Mike Flanigan get a little gap and he just ran away with it.

With the last round of races starting, Rene Knott from KSDK showed up to check our little slice of Heaven. I just saw the story on Channel 5 and we all looked like stars! Emilie, Robert and Molly were well spoken, looked amazing and gave excellent interviews. When they make it available on-line, we'll post a link here!

Well, it's time to put myself to bed. This was my first night doing recap, so feel free to send any positive comments/constructive criticism my way. Don't have anything nice to say? well, you know what your mother would say! ;)

Thanks for being so quick to post results Steph! I was having dinner and missed the story and have not found it on their site just yet. I will check again in the morning! It was a great night of racing even though my legs acted crippled.
